These are pictures taken by my 5 year old daughter, Brooklyn. I have definitely got a photographer/scrapper on my hands.

Here is a picture I took at the mall of my three younger children. We went for pictures with Santa but Santa had left early that day.

Here are a couple of recent layouts.
Hello! Navidad was inspired from the gold and brown hues in the picture. I crocheted the ivory/gold flower that I used in the middle of the ivory silk poinsettia and used a gold snowflake button in the center. The embossed, gold foil star and ornament are Christmas tags. I used the personalized ribbon bow from the favors of the wedding on the foil ornament. I wasn't sure where I would place the journaling because I had little room from the embellies that I used so I machine stitched a frame around the two vertical pictures and hand-wrote the journaling above the stitched lines. The thick gold ribbon fit perfectly in the bling buckle and additional bling photo corners and flourish dazzled the layout up a little more. This layout was made for Day 5 of The 25 Days of Christmas at Scrapbook Dreamer and for Challenge #1 at Sassy Scrapper's December Holiday Extravaganza.

On December fun, I used non-traditional colors again for a Christmas layout. I knew I could get away with a color palette of blue/black/lavender by using a black and white picture. The blue metal word plates were very old in my stash and originally designed for a baby boy page but still worked well with a Christmas theme. I stickled the tips of the black paper flower and white silk flower to coordinate with the white silvery cording ribbon. This layout was made for Day 6 at Dreamer and for Challenge #2 at Sassy's.

Happy Tuesday!
Nik
