Final Day of the Scrapdango Blog Hop!!

Woohoo! Here we go again for our third and final day of the Scrapdango Progressive Blog Hop. If you joined us for the last two days on our fabulous blog hopping journey, then you know exactly what I'm talking about! If not, be sure to check the posts below to catch up and find out all the details!

Today's ventures bring you once again to the Fall 2009/Spring 2010 Scrapdango Design Team blogs. Once again, you'll be collecting a total of six ingredients to use on a new item- an ALTERED ITEM of your choice! You can choose any item you wish to alter (as you'll see from the DT examples) but you MUST include all six of the ingredients in the recipe! More are always welcome, depending on what you like! When you've completed your search and used the items in your own creation, link it to a post here on the Dango blog, or visit the Scrapdango forum to show us what you've done! We can't wait for you to share! Remember, everything must be completed by Monday night, November 16th at midnight, EST, so get going and good luck!

My ingredient that is needed for your Altered Item is the color RED.
Here is my example of an ALTERED CLOCK. I'm not much of an "altered" scrapper so I was laughing a little when I finished this clock because it reminded me so much of a "granny" gift---you know the kind---like what a Grandma would make to give as a gift to a neighbor or friend...lol. Anyhoo, I'm going to give it to my Mother as a Christmas gift and she will only have to hang it up during the holidays so I guess that won't be too embarressing..lol.

The photos are of her four children (I'm #9), circa 1997, and I cropped them from a small wallet size photo I had stuffed in the bottom of one of my photo boxes. After punching them out with my small circle puncher, the circular pictures were missing bits on the ends so I hid them a touch with cut out trees from the patterned paper. I had a lot of fun making this and I will probably make a couple of more that are more modern to give as gifts to friends and co-workers for Christmas.

Ok, it's time to get hopping!! I can't wait to see what you create!!

What a great little clock. I love the christmas idea and think I may alter the clock in my craft room to fit the season.

Thanks for the inspiration and thank you for becoming a follower and leaving such a wonderful comment on my blog.
